Graham Tracey grew up the son of a musician and a teacher on the Jersey shore. After attending college in Vermont he settled in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY and began his music career as the drummer and background vocalist for the much-hailed cult band The Niagaras. After many years of playing the bars and clubs of New York City with dozens of bands, he began working as a session singer in some of Manhattan's finest studios. As he worked his guitar, bass, and drums into the recording scene, he began composing for film and television and building his own studio.
Graham has recently relocated from Brooklyn, NY to Rossland, British Columbia, and has opened a brand new state of the art recording facility called High Lonesome Sound. Specializing in film scores and advertising music, the new studio balances remote recording for New York, Los Angeles, and Vancouver clients with local projects including new records by The Tuques and The Sons, and music for an upcoming Rossland based mountain biking feature.
